This past Thursday, some dear friends of our family came over to play! And with a quad! We had so much fun blazing trails and racing around our fields. Even Anna and Natalie insisted that they have a turn as well:)
As a spontaneous surprise, Mrs. M and Mom planned to have the kids spend the night at our home. We all went to the girls last softball game together, and after we came home, we went to do barn chores. Later that night, my friend Sam and I watched Saving Private Ryan together, and hit our beds at about 1 am.
The "M's" and us, have a pastime of building hay forts in our barn. Friday morning we all built a hay fort for the first time in about a year and a half, and it's one of our best ones yet.
It was such a blessed day and a half with our friends, and I thank God for giving me such friendships.
